The Symbols of the Nyima Dolma Sundari Clan

"The jewel represented by the tsatsa who fulfill the vows is the symbol of the union of water and earth. "

In the old writings of the clan of Nyima Dolma Sundari it is referenced all that must have the shaman of the clan of Nagas.

Each jhankri brahman or buddhist has its own collection, in which the mantras, pujas and all the necessary to use to invite the spirits and guides to help him in his work are recorded for generations.

Beyond the common needs of the Mongolian, Tamang, Chinese, and Nepalese jhankri; The essence of the other accessories is very complex in teaching and too numerous according to the teachings of the different teachers.

Here are some of the attributes of jhankri:

- The long necklace of bells that serves to call the spirits.
- Malas or rosaries of prayers, supports during the recitations of mantras. Some are made from vegetable seeds, others from wood beads, or bone.
- The phurba, a sharp knife whose three-sided blade serves as a vector to lead the spirit of the disease, for example, into the earth that will transmute it.
- The oval or round drum covered with skin on both sides. In the strips that stretch the skin are inserted leaves of wishes and mantras. The handle is carved with animals and spirits proper to the jhankri with which he works.
- The flute or the bone trumpet, a radius or tibia the cut-off end is surrounded by a large ring of copper and the head is pierced through and through. It is used during funeral rituals.

The jhankri suit of the Nyima Dolma Sundari clan is the armor of the Garuda, inherited from his Master and symbol of the martial clan. It is composed of a white tunic, a bib or bracelet made of bone or pearls similar to the Garuda's armor and its bracelets are sharpened similar to the sharp eagle's greenhouses. A helmet similar to the powerful beak of the eagle adorns the head.

In every ritual, rice, often colored incense and water are found in all ceremonies. Depending on the pujas to perform, the jhankri uses all or part of his necessary.

When they are not used the objects are arranged and gathered around a plant temple built especially for this purpose and used in ceremonies.

The symbol of the Nagas clan of Nyima Dolma Sundari appeals to the primordial guardians of energies: Naga, Garuda, Kalachakra, Dragons, Dorje and Lotus.

- The Naga is the delicate wisdom at work. She offers her knowledge and gifts or tupa. It prevents future negatives and guides for success.
"The garuda is the martial expert." In the phase of the ritual, he turns dancing and singing to invoke the spirits. He is the guardian of the Martial Masters and track practitioners.
- The kalachakra represents the temple, the abode of energies. Protected by the fire infused by the dragons depicted here in the dorje. They watch at the entrance of every temple and sacred places.
- The lotus is harmony, eternal beauty and the only way that leads to enlightenment

These guardians evoke the essence of the shaman who in rituals offers his energy in almost martial rituals, fighting against energies. With his wisdom, he brings out bad energies, and tries to dissolve them or transform them by rituals. Thanks to his dorje, he has the possibility to return to the human world that can open the fire of energies.
